Colorado Sees a Spike in Employment After Legalization (LINK) w/ added thought below

Colorado has seen a spike, not in teenage use of the big, bad, marijuana, BUT IN EMPLOYMENT since legalizing "weed,' three years ago.

Back in 2012, I went to work for Merry Maids.  Now, at this job, after less than half of my first day, I did so well, I was even told that I was the best cleaner they ever had (Hey!  That's what Amity will do, LOL)!  However, after spending two days listening to the two girls that I worked with talk about how "nice," the owners of the company were, because they threw the one girl a baby shower when she, at 8 or 9 mos, found out she was pregnant, as she had been legal pharming, AND drinking booze and smoking tobacco the whole time, to the degree that she DIDN'T REALIZE SHE WAS PREGNANT, I was fired because I failed the "drug" test.  I tested positive for THC. I blogged about it on omamaisbroko http://omamaisbroko.blogspot.com/2012/06/its-amazing.html.

What I didn't know, at that time, though had long suspected was, and later confirmed as fact in one of my criminal justice classes, was that when you get drug tested for a menial job (usually the only ones who test you), they are really ONLY testing for THC.  Nice, huh?  Cocaine, heroin, meth, they all leave your system within hours (i.e.: 48 hrs), but the big, bad marijuana can and will stay in your system for over 30 days!! Nevermind that they aren't even testing for pharmaceuticals, or booze, both of which absolutely melt your brain!

My point is; this does not surprise me in the least.

added thought 6/9/17

**p.s.  Currently, I don't even smoke.  I mean, I have nothing against it, and will/would if I wanted to, but I can go years without it. And right now, I'm in one of those zones where I just don't want to use it.  BUT, I should legally be allowed to, being as everyone's a pharmed out zombie, a boozer, a 2x loser (strangers with candy, anyone, LOL, forget it).  Also, people who prefer the ganj over booze, pharms and tobacco should not be penalized.  The others aren't.

On a totally different note, I had a crazy dream.  I was hugged, and felt that "electricity."  As they say, I guess a girl can dream. ;) And as debbi gibson sang, "only in my dreams."   Who would've thought I'd ever be quoting debbi/deborah gibson, LOL. ciao!
